Patrick Kipping has experience in a range of projects across the commercial, residential, aged care and education sectors, with involvement in all aspects of the delivery process including master planning, design, council approvals, documentation and administration of the construction process. He has also frequently appeared at VCAT tribunal hearings to present expert advice on a range of projects.
Plan E Landscape Architects seek to instil a unique character into each project that responds to the individuality of the client’s brief, project budget and specific site conditions, whilst providing pride and joy today and long into tomorrow. The practice places strong emphasis on the exploration of design ideas for projects through a research basis and a detailed appraisal of site capabilities, in order to produce site-responsive landscape planning and design.

Arj Dhandapani & Harry Miriklis
Harry Miriklis and Arj Dhandapani are business partners in their property development business, Sunnybrix Group. Harry had done four developments and Arj had done a reno subdivision project prior to forming the company. They currently have three land subdivision projects from which they expect to bring two renovated houses and 18 land lots to the market by 2024.

Have you thought about remotely managing the renovation of a house that you are keeping with a subdivision? BUT you just don’t know where to start…

But this is EXACTLY what Arj and Harry did when they secured this deal in Castlemaine! Despite their stellar start, they still experienced their fair share of challenges along the way:

-Renovation budget exceeded by $50K!
-Unexpected costs in stumping & an array of small issues with the renovation.
-Market falling by 5% since purchasing the property… Ouch!!!
-Renovation not completed in time for the valuation.
-Valuation coming nearly $200k less than originally estimated!
-Very conservative valuation in comparison to market comparable sales.
-$150k more cash required to settle the property and continue the project… Another OUCH!
-Land sales taking longer to sell compared to when the project started!!!
