Bridgette & Geoffrey Flint
Bridgette and Geoff Flint commenced their property development journey with a dual occupancy in Augustine Heights, initially renting out as it was cost neutral, then selling as it had poor capital growth. Next was a minor cosmetic reno to an older house on a large block in Loganlea, again initially renting out before building a second dwelling on the rear of the lot and renting that also. They strata titled the properties and sold both paving the way for their next deal.
The couple's next venture was a 1970's beach shack on the Sunshine Coast. Demolishing the existing structure, they built a duplex (which is the subject of this Real Deal preso). Strategically, they strata titled the duplex units, renting one to their son with hopes of future retirement and selling the other to offset financial obligations. Currently, Bridgette and Geoff Flint are actively seeking new opportunities, exploring prospects on the Sunshine Coast or in Brisbane.
The couple's next venture was a 1970's beach shack on the Sunshine Coast. Demolishing the existing structure, they built a duplex (which is the subject of this Real Deal preso). Strategically, they strata titled the duplex units, renting one to their son with hopes of future retirement and selling the other to offset financial obligations. - Settlement to handover was 2.5 years!
- PLUS a daunting two hour drive to the property became a recurring challenge!
