Michelle Cao
Michelle Cao has been developing for the past 13 years. Starting small, her first project was a duplex in regional NSW. She continued to do small projects until one day she was just simply sick of doing two houses each time. Then came the birth of her first unit development. Currently the majority of Michelle's projects are boutique unit buildings and land subdivisions. She has always had a passion for grand designs and detailed works, but instead of doing high-end houses, she now focuses that passion into creating amazing penthouses.

Michelle purchased this large lot with an old Queenslander at the front with a delayed settlement.
The norm for the suburb was to build townhouses... BUT Michelle recognised that this was not the highest and best use for this property!
Instead she could see the potential in doing 5 apartments!
Despite Michelle's thinking ahead, problem solving, and creativity... there were challenges ahead:
- change of DA after receiving the initial approval
- waiting for the builder to finish other jobs
- underestimated the BA process
- picked the wrong architect
- picked the wrong civil engineer
- way too many civil engineers involved...
AND... construction during the middle of a Construction Crisis!
