Craig Holden is Chair of the South Australian State Planning Commission, a board member of the ACH Group and The South Australian Housing Trust.
His company Forme Projex specializes in the development of city residential apartments. Craig is a member of the Urban Development Institute Of Australia (SA), the Master Builders
Association of South Australia, Business SA and The Real estate Institute of South Australia. He has a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) Degree from the University of Adelaide, a Graduate Diploma in Building Project Management from the South Australian institute of Technology, a General Builders Licence, is a registered Land Agent and an Accredited Professional Planning level 2.

 Peter Aquilina (House-Proud Property Developments) has been a full-time developer since June 2020. This was his third project with JV partner, Paul Dowsett. Initially, he worked for a builder and other developers finding development sites and managing projects. He now runs his own projects, works with joint venture partners, and offers project management services.

Are you leveraging your relationships with real estate agents, or are you letting opportunities slip through the cracks?

It took Peter five years to see the fruits of his efforts, when a real estate agent came to him with this prime off-market development site.

Already DA approved, this property development site seemed like a no-brainer, but as we all know, existing approvals can be a double-edged sword!

Having approvals allowed Peter and his JV partner, Paul, to circumvent unreasonable requests that Council may have made if they started from scratch with new plans.

However, to optimise the existing design they had to navigate a series of challenges:

- a minor variation to the DA Approvals,
- a change of builder,
- getting the builder to transfer the ownership of the plans,
- applying for credits for fees already paid by the previous owner,
- paying for expedited service to get the Titles issued sooner!

Pre-Selling three lots as house and land packages, they were forced to pivot and construct the last one to get the final sale over the line.
