Heynen Planning Consultants
Gregg Jenkins has worked as a planning consultant for the past decade, and offers a collaborative, pragmatic and organised approach to development with an exceptional understanding of the challenges faced by developers. Heynen Planning Consultants have been providing independent planning advice for 29 years on development applications and act before the Environment, Resources and Development Court. They provide additional scope and flexibility to service client needs with respect to the Planning and Design Code and other development and environmental regulations. Previously they gave advice to various State government planning departments and the Local Government Association (SA) with respect to improvements to the planning system including the creation of private certification of planning and the electronic lodgement of development applications.

Robyn Williams
Over the last 20 years, Robyn Williams and her husband have purchased and built 13 investment properties in Cairns, Victoria, Regional SA and locally. Some were successful investments, some were not. Over the last 10 years they’ve culled their portfolio and concentrated on development. Since then, they have built approximately 30 dwellings, all in some form of joint venture. They’ve produced completed products, land, house and land, and even became reluctant renovators.

BUT it was not all glittery and sunshine along the journey:
- Her JV Partner didn’t have the cash to settle in time! Eeeek!
- The Home Buyers Grant induced industry demands & soaring prices!
- Demo contractor damaged the neighbours fence – quest to find old bricks to match.
- Drawn out timeline…
- Builder very slow and unresponsive
Fortunately for Robyn, there was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow… Come along to learn from Robyn and find out how she resolved all the issues!
